OUR PAST SAYS A LOT ABOUT OUR PRESENT

In 1976, Michel Catris founded Richel Paris, who designed and crafted high quality pieces from his factory in Barcelona. Richel was renowned for its inimitable handkerchiefs, ties, and other accessories. The firm also worked for fashion brands such as: Celine, Yves Saint Laurent and Salvatore Ferragamo or Balenciaga.

Michel was the first Spanish exporter of silk, opening stores in Madrid, New York, Singapore and Paris.

The Spanish Ministry for Industry granted Richel the distinguished “Premio de exportaciones” (export prize) for the firm’s great contribution to the Spanish textile industry.

In 1992 the International Olympic Committee named Richel the official provider of masculine and feminine accessories for the Barcelona Olympics.

What Michel would never get to see is the relaunch of the fashion house he founded, 48 years ago, by his granddaughter.
